Sample interview questions
I begin by establishing clear utilization, capacity, margin, quality, and customer-outcome measures. I review demand and staffing forecasts with sales and resource management on a regular cadence, remove assignment blockers quickly, and use coaching or targeted enablement when utilization or delivery quality trends fall behind plan.
I first align on the customer impact, desired business outcome, decision owners, and immediate containment actions. I then lead a cross-functional root-cause review, maintain transparent executive communications, assign dated recovery actions, and confirm success through measurable delivery and adoption outcomes.
I would qualify the customer's objectives, risks, technical readiness, and change requirements before defining a journey-based scope. I would ensure the statement of work has realistic assumptions, roles, milestones, acceptance criteria, and value measures, while confirming the proposed team and timeline can deliver what is sold.
I use individualized development plans tied to role expectations, delivery observations, customer feedback, and future capability needs. I combine regular coaching with stretch assignments, peer learning, formal enablement, and transparent career conversations so team members build both technical and leadership depth.
At engagement kickoff, I translate the customer's strategic goals into observable outcomes, adoption measures, and governance checkpoints. Throughout delivery, I review progress against those outcomes with the customer and team, adjust the journey when assumptions change, and validate that deliverables enable sustained value after the engagement ends.
