Sample interview questions
How have you grown revenue within an existing partner or customer portfolio?

I segment accounts by opportunity, engagement, renewal timing, and adoption signals, then build account plans with measurable expansion goals. I use regular business reviews and multi-threaded stakeholder engagement to uncover needs, align solutions to outcomes, and create a clear path to close.

How would you improve retention and net dollar retention among MSP partners?

I would establish health indicators covering product adoption, support trends, stakeholder engagement, renewal dates, and commercial growth. For accounts showing risk, I would engage early with a mutual success plan; for healthy accounts, I would connect realized value to additional use cases and expansion opportunities.

Describe your experience using Salesforce or another CRM to manage a book of business.

I use CRM data to maintain accurate contacts, document customer goals and risks, track opportunities, forecast renewals, and schedule follow-up actions. Consistent hygiene lets me prioritize effectively, give leadership reliable visibility, and ensure that no key partner commitment is missed.

How would you establish credibility with an MSP partner that is skeptical of a cybersecurity vendor?

I would begin by understanding the partner’s business model, customer base, operational constraints, and security priorities rather than leading with a generic pitch. I would then connect Huntress capabilities to concrete partner outcomes, provide candid guidance on fit and limitations, and follow through consistently on agreed actions.

How do you use AI tools responsibly in account-management work?

I use AI to accelerate preparation, summarize calls, organize notes, and draft follow-up materials, while validating facts and applying professional judgment before communicating externally. I also protect confidential information by following company policies and only using approved tools and data-handling practices.
