Sample interview questions
I segment the market by ideal customer profile, prioritize accounts based on likely need and potential value, and use a consistent multichannel outreach cadence. I track conversion rates by stage in the CRM, test messaging, and reserve time each week for both new prospecting and progressing qualified opportunities.
I would begin by understanding the property’s business model, booking mix, current technology, revenue goals, and operational pain points. I would ask open questions about distribution, demand forecasting, and manual processes, then connect the most relevant platform capabilities to measurable outcomes before agreeing on clear next steps.
I would acknowledge the concern, clarify the underlying issue, and return to the value and cost of inaction. Rather than discounting immediately, I would reinforce the expected business impact, explore terms that work for both parties, and document agreed commitments and next steps.
I focus on controllable activities such as high-quality outreach, discovery preparation, follow-up discipline, and pipeline hygiene. I use weekly metrics to identify gaps early, seek coaching when needed, and treat rejection as data that improves my messaging and qualification.
I would capture feedback accurately in the CRM with customer context, business impact, frequency, and examples. I would distinguish feature requests from usability or positioning issues, share recurring themes with the appropriate teams, and close the loop with customers when possible.
