The role, at a glance.
Cribl is hiring an enterprise-focused Regional Sales Manager to build and close complex security and observability opportunities in the United Kingdom. The role owns the full sales ecosystem, from demand generation and territory planning through forecasting, executive value articulation, and closing new-logo business. Candidates need at least five years of quota-carrying enterprise or strategic security sales experience, particularly with CISO, CIO, SIEM, and observability buyers. Success depends on disciplined use of MEDDIC, channel-led selling, creation of unbudgeted demand, and the ability to land at least five new logos annually. This is a remote-first role that may occasionally require work outside normal hours across time zones.

Sample interview questions
I would segment the territory by ideal customer profile, security and observability maturity, installed technology, and propensity for change. I would prioritize a focused account list, map technical and executive buying committees, develop account-specific hypotheses, and create weekly leading-indicator goals for pipeline creation, meetings, partner activity, and progression.
I use MEDDIC from discovery onward to validate measurable business outcomes, identify the economic buyer, clarify decision criteria and process, uncover pain, establish a champion, and understand competition. I maintain these elements in the opportunity plan and use gaps to direct next steps, rather than relying only on positive stakeholder sentiment.
I connect the solution to a high-priority operational, risk, or cost issue that already has executive attention, such as telemetry growth, SIEM cost pressure, incident-response delays, or AI-readiness. I quantify the impact of the status quo, align a compelling business case with multiple stakeholders, and help the champion identify a practical funding path.
I align early with the partner on account strategy, roles, mutual value, and next actions. I equip the partner with a clear value proposition and qualification criteria, maintain direct customer relationships, and use regular deal reviews to ensure both organizations are advancing the agreed plan.
I forecast from verified customer commitments, decision process evidence, MEDDIC completeness, and realistic timing rather than optimism. I separate upside from commit, identify risks and missing stakeholders early, and build sufficient pipeline coverage so that a single delayed deal does not compromise the quarter.
