Sample interview questions
I would first diagnose the gap using funnel, inventory, pricing, traffic, conversion, and operational data, then align with the partner on the highest-impact constraints. I would translate findings into a prioritized 30-, 60-, and 90-day plan with clear owners, expected GMV impact, and review checkpoints. Regular communication and transparent reporting would keep stakeholders aligned and allow us to adjust quickly.
I segment accounts by revenue potential, risk, lifecycle stage, and strategic importance, then establish a structured engagement cadence for each tier. I use account plans, health indicators, and task management to identify where proactive intervention will have the greatest impact. This creates consistency across the portfolio while reserving deeper time for expansion opportunities and at-risk partners.
I acknowledge the business impact promptly, clarify facts and desired resolution, and create a cross-functional action plan with owners and deadlines. I communicate candidly about what is known, what is being investigated, and when the client can expect updates. After resolution, I lead a retrospective to prevent recurrence and rebuild confidence through measurable follow-through.
I would include GMV, take rate or revenue, recurring contract value, variable costs, support and operational costs, contribution margin, expansion pipeline, churn risk, and forecast-versus-actual performance. At the account level, I would connect these metrics to drivers such as inventory availability, conversion, average order value, repeat purchase behavior, and marketing activity. The goal is to make investment and expansion decisions based on both growth and profitability.
I would start with the partner’s stated goals and performance data to identify a gap that an additional capability, market, or program could address. I would develop a concise business case covering expected impact, required investment, implementation considerations, and risks. In the discussion, I would tailor the message to the executive stakeholder’s priorities and agree on a clear next step rather than treating the conversation as a generic sales pitch.
About this role.
At Archive, we believe great products should live many lives. We build the technology that powers branded resale for some of the world’s most beloved companies, including Lululemon, The North Face, New Balance, Dr. Martens, Peloton, and 50+ others. Our platform makes it easy for brands to keep products in circulation and for customers to shop secondhand with confidence.

This is a relationship-first role for someone who thrives managing a high-volume book of accounts, balancing competing priorities with ease, and building real trust with brand stakeholders. You’ll bring tenacity and optimism to every conversation, helping brands see the opportunity in resale and turning hesitation into buy-in.
