Sample interview questions
Describe a strategic partnership you launched and the measurable business results it produced.

I would outline the partner opportunity, shared customer or revenue hypothesis, commercial structure, launch plan, and governance model. I would quantify results such as sourced revenue, activation rate, retention, pipeline conversion, or cost savings, while explaining how I adjusted the plan based on performance data.

How do you create a joint business plan with an enterprise partner?

I start by aligning on the mutual value proposition, target segments, success metrics, roles, investment, and timeline. I document these in a shared plan with executive sponsors, operating cadences, decision rights, GTM activities, and clear milestones, then use regular reviews to manage accountability.

How would you address a partnership that is missing growth targets?

I would first diagnose the constraint using funnel, adoption, operational, and customer-feedback data. Then I would align both teams on the highest-impact corrective actions, assign owners and deadlines, and establish a short-interval review cadence to validate whether the interventions improve results.

How do you influence cross-functional stakeholders when priorities conflict?

I frame the issue around customer impact, strategic objectives, expected financial value, and the cost of inaction. I bring a fact-based recommendation, listen to constraints from each function, and negotiate a practical phased plan with explicit trade-offs and accountable owners.

What partnership metrics would you present in a quarterly business review?

I would tailor metrics to the partnership model but typically include revenue or contribution margin, pipeline and conversion, customer adoption, retention, product utilization, operational SLAs, campaign performance, open risks, and progress against joint business-plan milestones. I would pair the metrics with decisions needed, lessons learned, and prioritized next-quarter actions.
