Sample interview questions
How do you approach writing an SEO article from a client brief?

I start by clarifying the audience, search intent, primary keyword, supporting terms, brand voice, and conversion goal. I review the search landscape and credible sources, create an outline that answers the reader’s needs, then draft naturally optimized copy with clear headings, internal-link opportunities, and a relevant call to action.

How do you localize English marketing copy for a Spanish audience rather than translating it literally?

I preserve the intended message and business goal while adapting vocabulary, idioms, sentence structure, examples, and calls to action for Spanish readers. I also verify terminology, cultural relevance, and regional language conventions so the finished content reads as original Spanish copy.

Describe how you maintain quality when managing several content deadlines at once.

I break each assignment into research, outlining, drafting, editing, and final QA milestones, then prioritize work by delivery date and complexity. I track progress in the project system, flag risks early, and use a final checklist for SEO requirements, grammar, links, formatting, and client-specific instructions.

What is your process for researching a complex topic such as insurance or finance?

I begin with authoritative primary sources, industry publications, and reputable regulatory or company materials. I validate terminology across sources, distinguish factual claims from marketing language, and write in accessible terms while ensuring the content remains accurate and aligned with the assigned brief.

How would you handle feedback requesting substantial revisions to a completed article?

I would review the feedback against the brief and clarify any ambiguous points before revising. I would address the requested changes systematically, preserve SEO and brand requirements, and return a clean, well-edited revision within the agreed timeline.
