Sample interview questions
I would first clarify the new requirements, business rationale, and urgency with the client. I would assess impacts on scope, staffing, timeline, budget, quality, and risks with internal teams, then present clear options and secure formal agreement on the preferred change before updating the delivery plan and stakeholder communications.
I would establish clear scope, success criteria, assumptions, and commercial guardrails at the start of the engagement. Throughout delivery, I would monitor effort, budget consumption, risks, and change requests, escalating early when margins may be affected. I would focus on solutions that protect outcomes for the client while ensuring additional work is appropriately scoped and priced.
I would begin with the business impact rather than technical terminology, explain the issue in plain language, and outline the available options, trade-offs, and recommended decision. I would confirm understanding and provide a concise written summary so the stakeholder can communicate the decision internally.
I would track delivery performance against scope, milestones, quality targets, budget, margin, and risk status. I would also monitor stakeholder engagement, client satisfaction or NPS, renewal likelihood, pipeline opportunities, forecast accuracy, and the value of account expansion opportunities.
I would use project reviews, stakeholder conversations, delivery results, and the client's strategic priorities to identify adjacent needs. I would then validate the opportunity with technical and commercial teams, develop a value-based proposal, and position it as a practical next step that improves the client's AI program outcomes.
