Sample interview questions
How would you diagnose a decline in qualified leads reported by a sales team?

I would first validate the CRM data and reporting definitions, then compare lead volume, source, lifecycle progression, routing performance, and conversion rates across relevant time periods. I would identify whether the issue is acquisition, tracking, scoring, handoff, or sales follow-up, and recommend measurable corrective actions.

Describe your approach to implementing end-to-end marketing attribution.

I begin by defining business goals, conversion events, campaign taxonomy, and source-of-truth systems. I then configure UTMs, web and ad-platform tracking, CRM fields, and integrations, validate records through test conversions, and create reporting that clearly states the attribution model and its limitations.

How would you improve CRM data quality for a client with duplicate and incomplete records?

I would audit field completion, duplicates, ownership, lifecycle values, and integration behavior to determine root causes. Then I would establish normalization rules, deduplication processes, required fields, validation workflows, enrichment practices, and governance dashboards to prevent the issues from recurring.

What factors do you consider when building an executive sales and marketing dashboard?

I focus on the decisions leaders need to make, rather than displaying every available metric. The dashboard should include agreed KPI definitions, funnel conversion rates, source performance, pipeline impact, data freshness, trend comparisons, and concise drill-down paths for investigating material changes.

How have you used AI to improve marketing or revenue operations?

I use AI to accelerate repeatable operational work such as documentation drafts, data-review assistance, campaign QA checklists, insight summarization, and workflow ideation. I validate outputs against source data, protect sensitive information, and retain human review for business logic and client-facing recommendations.
