Sample interview questions
I establish a shared operating cadence around common funnel definitions, planning assumptions, targets, and leading indicators. I use cross-functional reviews to surface trade-offs early, assign accountable owners, and connect initiatives to measurable revenue, retention, and productivity outcomes.
I begin with a diagnostic of process friction, data quality, technology adoption, and performance gaps. I then prioritize the highest-value improvements, create a phased roadmap with clear owners and adoption metrics, and reinforce change through enablement, governance, and executive reporting.
I would assess attainment, pipeline creation and coverage, conversion rates by stage, sales-cycle length, win rate, ramp time, activity quality, and quota capacity. The right metric set is segmented by role, segment, and tenure so that interventions target the actual constraint.
I assess the business problem first, including process maturity, user needs, data requirements, integration impact, total cost, and expected adoption. I favor simplification and configuration where possible, but recommend new technology when it delivers a clear, measurable capability that the current stack cannot support.
I would tie enablement priorities to specific business outcomes such as faster ramp, improved discovery quality, higher conversion, or stronger account expansion. The program would combine role-based learning, manager reinforcement, practical assets, certification, and measurement of behavior change alongside commercial results.
