Sample interview questions
I would outline the target segment, business objective, channel mix, messaging, timeline, and success metrics. I would then explain how I coordinated internal and agency contributors, monitored leading indicators such as engagement and conversion, and used the results to optimize pipeline contribution.
I begin with shared definitions for target accounts, lifecycle stages, campaign goals, and follow-up expectations. I involve sales leaders in planning, provide enablement and visibility into campaign timing, and hold regular reviews to connect campaign performance with opportunity quality and pipeline outcomes.
I would use a transparent prioritization framework based on strategic fit, expected pipeline impact, audience readiness, available resources, urgency, and dependencies. I would communicate trade-offs early, maintain a shared roadmap, and sequence work so high-impact initiatives receive adequate execution support.
I define baseline performance and a measurement plan before launch, including engagement, conversion, lead quality, opportunity creation, pipeline, and revenue metrics. I use dashboards and segmented analysis to identify performance patterns, then apply structured tests to validate changes rather than relying on isolated vanity metrics.
I establish a detailed brief covering audience, objectives, messaging, deliverables, approval paths, timelines, budget, and performance expectations. I use regular working sessions and documented feedback to resolve issues quickly, while holding the agency accountable to agreed quality standards and measurable outcomes.
