Sample interview questions
How would you build a new pipeline for StackAdapt in Japan during your first six months?

I would segment priority agencies, brands, and potential channel partners by programmatic maturity, strategic fit, and revenue potential. I would map decision-makers, establish an account plan for each priority target, use relevant market insights to create tailored outreach, and track conversion metrics weekly to refine the approach.

Describe how you would position a DSP to a Japanese agency that already works with established platforms.

I would first understand the agency’s client goals, current workflow, performance gaps, and measurement requirements. I would then position the platform around differentiated business outcomes, such as audience reach, optimization capabilities, transparency, service model, and measurable campaign results, supported by a focused pilot plan.

Tell us about a time you developed a strategic partnership that created a new route to market.

I would explain the partner-selection criteria, the shared commercial proposition, and the governance model used to activate the relationship. A strong example would quantify sourced pipeline or revenue, identify challenges encountered, and show how both organizations sustained the partnership beyond the initial launch.

How do you maintain forecast accuracy in a fast-moving new-business environment?

I use clear stage definitions, verify buyer process and decision criteria, document next steps, and regularly challenge close dates against evidence. I combine CRM hygiene with weekly pipeline reviews to identify risks early, rebalance activity, and provide leadership with a realistic forecast.

How would you collaborate with Client Success after winning a strategic account?

I would run a structured transition that documents client objectives, stakeholders, success metrics, commercial commitments, and expansion opportunities. I would remain involved in executive relationship management and review performance with Client Success so that early value realization leads to retention and account growth.
