Sample interview questions
I would begin with a role and competency analysis involving top performers, sales leadership, Medical Affairs, and Marketing. The program would combine self-paced product and disease-state learning, live skills practice, field ride-alongs, and knowledge checks, with clear certification criteria and reinforcement after launch.
I build compliance review into the development workflow from the start, using documented content ownership, version control, and Medical, Legal, and Regulatory review checkpoints. I also train facilitators and representatives on approved claims, escalation paths, and the practical boundaries of compliant customer conversations.
I would triangulate quantitative results, manager feedback, CRM data, call observations, and learner assessments to distinguish a knowledge gap from a skill, process, or territory issue. I would then deploy focused training, coaching tools, and manager reinforcement, measuring improvement against defined proficiency and business metrics.
I use short interactive modules, realistic case studies, peer discussion, role plays, polling, and scenario-based assessments rather than extended presentation blocks. For experienced representatives, I emphasize application to current account challenges, product updates, and peer-shared best practices.
I would align with Regional Sales Directors before the event on desired behaviors and provide them with observation guides, coaching questions, and follow-up activities. After training, I would share cohort insights and assessment results so managers can reinforce priority skills during field coaching and team meetings.
