The role, at a glance.
CourseCareers seeks a part-time Supply Chain Procurement Career Coach to lead a monthly live, one-hour workshop and optionally provide one-to-one coaching. The coach will answer student questions, explain entry-level procurement careers and job-search expectations, and share practical industry insight. Candidates need at least three years of relevant professional experience, strong teaching and communication skills, and availability for evening sessions, ideally Tuesday through Thursday. This is a flexible side-practice opportunity rather than guaranteed full-time employment, with a fixed workshop payment and variable coaching revenue.

Sample interview questions
I would begin with a concise overview of procurement functions and common entry-level titles, then cover the core skills employers seek, such as supplier communication, purchase-order processes, basic spend analysis, and stakeholder management. I would use realistic examples, reserve time for questions, and close with a practical job-search checklist and suggested next steps.
I use plain language and connect concepts to familiar situations. For example, I explain sourcing as comparing suppliers against requirements such as cost, quality, delivery, and risk, then use a simple case example to show how those tradeoffs affect a buying decision.
I would help them identify transferable experience in purchasing, vendor coordination, inventory, budgeting, operations, data analysis, or stakeholder communication. Then I would tailor their resume around outcomes, teach them relevant terminology, and recommend targeted applications for coordinator, buyer, purchasing assistant, or procurement analyst pathways.
I would be transparent about the limits of my experience, clarify the student’s goal, and provide reliable general guidance where appropriate. If specialized advice is needed, I would suggest credible resources or encourage them to consult a qualified professional rather than speculate.
I keep content focused and practical, vary delivery between short explanations and examples, and invite interaction through questions, polls, or brief scenarios. I also provide tangible takeaways so students leave with actions they can apply immediately to their job search.

About the Role
We’re looking for part-time Procurement Career Coaches to support students through live workshops and optional 1:1 coaching.

How This Role Actually Works
You host a live, one-hour workshop (seminar-style) for students
You are paid $50 for your workshop + Private business you acquire
Ability to receive exclusive coaching offers if you prove your abilities
Workshops are used to provide value, answer questions, and showcase your expertise
If students choose to book you for 1:1 coaching, you keep the coaching revenue
You set your own availability and working hours
There is no requirement to convert students, workshops are paid regardless, but conversion is where upside comes from.
