Sample interview questions
Describe a $200K+ enterprise SaaS deal you closed with AI/ML or data-platform stakeholders.

I would outline the account context, stakeholders, business problem, solution evaluation, competitive landscape, and commercial strategy. I would quantify the ACV, sales-cycle length, outcomes achieved, and my personal role in creating and closing the opportunity.

How do you build a self-sourced pipeline in a new technical market?

I segment the territory by AI maturity, strategic initiatives, data complexity, and likely governance needs. I combine account research, persona-specific messaging, trigger events, AI-assisted research, coordinated outreach, and SDR partnership, then review conversion metrics weekly to refine the motion.

How would you explain Deasy Labs' unstructured-data capabilities to a Chief AI Officer?

I would focus on improving the reliability and control of enterprise AI by turning documents and other unstructured content into usable semantic context. I would connect this to better retrieval quality, faster AI deployment, clearer governance, reduced risk, and more trustworthy outcomes.

How do you multi-thread a complex enterprise buying committee?

I map technical users, champions, economic buyers, security and governance stakeholders, and procurement early in discovery. I tailor value and proof points to each group, validate decision criteria and process, and create mutual action plans that maintain alignment through the close.

What practices help you maintain accurate forecasts in an evolving enterprise pipeline?

I base forecasts on verified customer actions, compelling events, stakeholder alignment, technical validation, commercial progress, and a documented close plan rather than seller optimism. I update Salesforce in real time, identify risks early, and communicate changes transparently.

Joining Collibra’s AI Sales team

This role exists because the market is moving fast and we need elite hunters who can open doors, build trust with technical buyers and close net-new logos in a category that’s still being defined. Your work will directly shape how Deasy Labs grows and how Collibra establishes itself as the leader in enterprise AI.

About Deasy Labs

Deasy Labs, part of Collibra, develops technology that automatically discovers, enriches, and maintains the semantic context inside unstructured data. Enterprise knowledge often lives in documents, PDFs, reports, and transcripts that traditional data systems cannot easily organize or govern. The Deasy platform analyzes that content and generates structured metadata, taxonomies, and relationships that allow AI systems to retrieve the right information with accuracy and control.

You are

  • Comfortable creating real urgency in a market where buyer timelines shift constantly, without manufacturing false pressure
  • Familiar with unstructured data concepts and able to translate them into business value for stakeholders who don’t live in the stack
  • Able to hold your own on AI governance topics including bias, auditability, and model risk without a subject matter expert in the room

Measures of success

  • Within your first month, you will complete onboarding, build your territory account plan, and identify your top priority target accounts
  • Within your third month, you will have active qualified pipeline with AI team buyers and at least two deals past the discovery stage
