Sample interview questions
I would first evaluate the recordings for noise, clipping, room reflections, inconsistent levels, pronunciation coverage, and performance consistency. I would then create a non-destructive cleanup workflow using restoration, editing, level normalization, and quality-control checks, while documenting any source limitations and recommending additional recordings where needed.
I begin by clarifying the intended audience, reference material, emotional tone, technical delivery requirements, and approval criteria. I convert those inputs into a concise brief, propose test samples early, collect targeted feedback, and use an iterative production plan that keeps both creative and technical stakeholders aligned.
I establish shared technical specifications, editorial standards, reference examples, naming conventions, and structured review gates. I also use calibration sessions and actionable feedback to align engineers, then monitor recurring defects to improve the workflow rather than correcting the same issues project by project.
I pair practical demonstrations with real production scenarios, explaining both the capabilities and failure modes of each tool. I provide repeatable playbooks, encourage controlled experimentation, and review output together so the team develops critical listening skills instead of relying on automation blindly.
I would separate subjective preferences from objective delivery issues and restate the shared goal in clear language. By presenting a small set of annotated alternatives and explaining the trade-offs in intelligibility, performance, and consistency, I can guide stakeholders toward a decision while preserving trust and keeping production moving.
