Sample interview questions
I would explain the customer’s business challenge, the stakeholder map, and the value case I built. I would highlight how I managed competing priorities, maintained momentum through the sales cycle, and quantified the commercial outcome after closing.
I would segment priority accounts across leagues, teams, collegiate programs, and sports technology firms, then identify revenue, ticketing, fan engagement, and operations leaders. I would combine my existing network with targeted account research, relevant industry events, multi-channel outreach, and close coordination with SDR and marketing partners.
I create a stakeholder map early, document each participant’s priorities and influence, and establish mutual action plans with clear next steps. I tailor messaging for executive outcomes while ensuring technical users understand implementation value and operational fit.
I apply consistent qualification criteria, validate customer timelines and decision processes, and update CRM records immediately after material interactions. I separate committed opportunities from upside based on evidence such as verified business need, access to decision-makers, agreed next steps, and commercial alignment.
I would begin by understanding their current revenue or engagement workflow and the measurable friction it creates. Then I would connect the solution to a focused use case, demonstrate how AI can augment existing teams rather than disrupt them, and propose a practical evaluation plan with success metrics tied to their business objectives.
