Sample interview questions
How would you enable a new channel partner to position Tines effectively for public-sector customers?

I would first assess the partner's target agencies, technical capabilities, and current automation offerings. I would then deliver a structured enablement plan covering Tines' value proposition, public-sector use cases, security considerations, discovery questions, demo assets, and qualification criteria. I would reinforce learning through joint customer engagements and track progress through certification, pipeline, and technical-evaluation outcomes.

Describe how you would run a technical discovery session with a public-sector prospect and its partner.

I would align stakeholders on the mission outcome, existing processes, systems, security constraints, and success measures. I would use open questions to identify repetitive workflows, integration gaps, approval paths, and incident or operational bottlenecks. I would then map the highest-value use cases to a practical Tines workflow and agree on a scoped evaluation plan.

How do you build a compelling demo for a technical and business audience at the same time?

I start with a business-relevant scenario and state the outcome before showing product functionality. During the demo, I connect each technical action—such as an API integration, approval, enrichment, or automated response—to a measurable operational benefit. I adjust depth for the audience, leaving implementation detail for technical stakeholders while ensuring decision-makers understand differentiation and value.

What methods do you use to help partners win technical evaluations?

I establish clear success criteria, stakeholders, timeline, required integrations, and decision process at the outset. I provide reusable architectures, demo workflows, enablement materials, and regular checkpoints so the partner can lead confidently. I also document risks and competitive findings early, then use those insights to refine the solution and executive value narrative.

How would you turn partner and customer feedback into useful product input?

I would collect feedback in a consistent format that identifies the user problem, workflow context, business impact, frequency, workaround, and requested outcome. I would validate recurring themes across partners and customers before prioritizing them with product management. This creates actionable evidence rather than isolated feature requests and helps connect roadmap decisions to market opportunity.
