Sample interview questions
I segment leads by fit, engagement level, next required action, and likelihood of booking. I use CRM tasks and daily call blocks to ensure high-priority prospects receive timely follow-up while maintaining consistent coverage of the wider pipeline.
I begin with a concise, relevant introduction, confirm whether it is an appropriate time to speak, and ask open questions about the owner's priorities. I listen carefully, avoid pressure, and explain the value of a short conversation with an Account Manager rather than trying to force a decision on the initial call.
I would acknowledge their response respectfully, ask a brief permission-based question to understand the reason, and determine whether there is a relevant future follow-up point. If there is no fit, I would accurately document the outcome and preserve a positive impression of the company.
I understand that IRR estimates an investment's expected rate of return, while NPV evaluates the present value of future cash flows against an initial investment. In this role, that knowledge helps me understand the investment context and communicate credibly without presenting myself as the final financial decision-maker.
I break larger targets into daily activity and conversion goals, review my results regularly, and refine my messaging based on what works. I stay focused on controllable inputs such as call quality, follow-up speed, and accurate CRM documentation while learning from objections and outcomes.
