Sample interview questions
I would begin with audience segmentation, brand positioning, and an audit of channel performance and sentiment. I would define a clear editorial architecture that balances education, product storytelling, community advocacy, and thought leadership, then connect each content stream to measurable outcomes such as qualified engagement, share of voice, traffic quality, and adoption signals.
I would use a measurement framework that links channel metrics to business and brand objectives. This would include reach and audience growth, engagement quality, content saves and shares, referral traffic, sentiment, campaign contribution, and trends over time; I would report insights and recommended actions rather than presenting metrics in isolation.
I partner early with product, engineering, and subject-matter experts to validate core claims and identify the audience's real questions. I then translate technical concepts into concise, audience-appropriate narratives without overstating capability, using layered content formats that allow people to explore more detail when needed.
I use a transparent prioritisation process based on strategic relevance, audience impact, timing, effort, and measurable objectives. I document the editorial calendar, clarify owners and approval paths, and communicate trade-offs early so stakeholders understand how decisions support the broader communications strategy.
I would use them to accelerate research, reporting, content repurposing, workflow coordination, and first-draft ideation while retaining human editorial judgment. I would establish review standards for factual accuracy, brand voice, privacy, and bias, particularly for technical claims and public-facing responses.
