Sample interview questions
How would you build a multi-year product strategy for an AI cloud platform?

I would begin by segmenting customers and priority workloads, assessing market and technology shifts, and mapping CoreWeave’s differentiated capabilities against competitors. I would translate those findings into strategic choices, investment themes, measurable outcomes, and a sequenced roadmap that is reviewed regularly with product and engineering leaders.

Describe how you would balance customer requests with a coherent platform strategy.

I would evaluate requests by strategic fit, customer reach, revenue or retention potential, technical leverage, and delivery cost. Rather than treating each request independently, I would identify common underlying problems and prioritize scalable platform capabilities that benefit multiple customer segments.

What metrics would you use to assess whether a product strategy is working?

I would use a balanced scorecard including adoption by target segment, workload growth, customer satisfaction, retention, time to value, roadmap delivery confidence, and business metrics such as revenue contribution or expansion. The specific metrics should be tied to each strategic pillar and reviewed through a consistent operating cadence.

How do you influence engineering and commercial stakeholders when priorities conflict?

I make trade-offs explicit using shared customer evidence, market data, technical dependencies, and expected business outcomes. I create decision forums with clear owners and document the rationale, so teams can align around the strategic objective even when not every local priority is selected.

How would you stay current on changes in AI and ML infrastructure markets?

I would maintain a structured research rhythm across customer interviews, win-loss feedback, analyst and developer communities, competitor monitoring, hyperscaler announcements, and internal usage data. I would synthesize insights into concise recurring updates that identify implications for product bets and roadmap timing.
