Leveraging data to solve customer problems is in Hopperโs DNA. While this began with helping customers save money by booking at the best time with our Price Prediction tool, weโve also used data to build a suite of novel Fintech products that help customers save money while traveling.
You will be focusing on solving data and engineering problems that allow Hopper to offer products that help our customers navigate travel disruptions (like flight delays, cancellations, or missed connections), and ultimately get where they want to be. If a customer experiences a disruption, they can rebook themselves on any airline – right in the Hopper app – for free.ย The Disruption vertical has grown significantly in the last few years and is expanding more by maturing our core products, entering new travel verticals, and offering our products in completely new distribution channels (outside of the Hopper app).
