Been grooming dogs for 4 years and I’m torn between staying in my current salon role or taking a training certification path. I already work closely with anxious dogs and owners, and I keep getting told I’d be good at behavior work. The grooming job is stable, but I’m starting to feel boxed in. I’m trying to decide whether I should keep building here and aim for a senior grooming role, or invest time and money into dog training and try to switch careers. What would make the most sense for long-term growth?
