I am applying for product analyst roles and have a dashboard project that shows my process well, but the stakeholder stopped responding before I could measure the final results. I could include it in my portfolio with a note explaining what I built and the expected impact, or leave it out and rely on older work with weaker visuals. Would recruiters see an unfinished case study as honest context, or assume I cannot deliver completed projects?

Include it with a clear status note and focus on decisions made, but omit speculative impact; the main exception is if confidentiality prevents meaningful context.

Polished visuals matter less than a traceable analysis. Include it if you can show a decision-ready dashboard without claiming unmeasured impact.
