I am a Turkish-qualified lawyer admitted to the Istanbul Bar Association since 2018, with legal experience in commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, data privacy, corporate advisory, employment law, competition law and dispute resolution.
I have worked in law firms and an international fintech environment across Türkiye and Germany. My recent work involved supporting Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) implementation for third-party ICT providers, including vendor contract reviews, contractual gap analysis, negotiation and compliance documentation.
I am experienced in drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements, vendor contracts, data processing agreements, employment documentation, joint venture agreements and memoranda of understanding. I translate complex regulatory requirements into practical, business-focused legal guidance.
My data protection background includes GDPR and Turkish data protection law (KVKK), privacy notices, data processing agreements, compliance processes and training. I have also supported due diligence, audits, regulatory research, litigation and cross-border legal matters for finance and technology-sector clients.
I hold an LL.M. in Business Law from Freie Universität Berlin and am completing a Ph.D. in Law at Marmara University. My academic focus includes European business law, competition law, digital regulation, intellectual property, labor law and technology-related regulation.
I work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, including Procurement, IT, Information Security, Data Privacy and business teams. I am based in Berlin and am fluent in Turkish and English, with intermediate German proficiency.
