Responsibilities-
Opening And closing the medical office.
Schedule and monitors patient appointments and coordinates routine office procedures. Coordinates administrative functions in support of office activities. Utilizing Medent to direct all incoming/outgoing faxes, utilizing partnering hospital EMR data bases to update patient record and informing PCP of changes , Labs, tests, etc.
Coordinating and setting up Lab, Imaging, and Treatment/Referrals with Providers and other medical offices. Assist with setup and clean-up of medical treatment room. Assist clinic nurse with outside appointments. Processing all prior authorizations utilizing evicore, transact rx, and cover my meds needed for patients.
