I am a dedicated and motivated individual currently pursuing my education in Theater and Sociology at Lehman College, CUNY, with an expected graduation in May 2025. My journey in the hospitality industry began with a certificate in Hospitality Administration and Management from Florida Atlantic University, which has equipped me with essential skills in customer service and teamwork. I have a passion for building relationships and creating memorable experiences for customers, which I have honed through various roles in the service industry.
Throughout my career, I have worked in fast-paced environments, such as Fogo De Chao and Circa Navy Yard, where I developed my multitasking abilities and learned the importance of excellent communication. I pride myself on being an accountable and self-motivated employee, always striving to meet and exceed customer expectations. My experience as a server has taught me how to work collaboratively with my team to ensure that every guest has a positive dining experience.
In addition to my work in hospitality, I have also gained valuable administrative experience as a part-time Administrative Assistant at Hung Tao Choy Mei Leadership Institute. This role allowed me to enhance my organizational skills and manage various tasks, including answering phones, maintaining records, and managing databases. I have also completed a remote internship with Diversity Think Tank, where I conducted research and translated documents, further expanding my skill set.
I am fluent in multiple languages, including English, Spanish, French, and Wolof, which has enabled me to connect with a diverse range of clients and colleagues. I believe that my ability to communicate effectively in different languages is a significant asset in any workplace.
Outside of my professional experience, I am actively involved in extracurricular activities, including serving as a Kung-Fu instructor and participating in theater arts productions.
