I am Elisabeta Shkurti, a dedicated professional with extensive experience in gender issues, project management, and financial operations. Over the past 15 years, I have worked with various organizations, focusing on empowering women and children, advocating for workers’ rights, and addressing gender-based violence. My journey has equipped me with strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in diverse environments.
Currently, I am involved in multiple projects that aim to improve workplace conditions and promote gender equality. As a Gender Expert, I prepare training modules and lead workshops that address critical issues faced by call center operators and other vulnerable groups. My role also involves writing project proposals and coordinating activities that raise awareness about harassment and discrimination in the workplace.
In my previous positions, I have held leadership roles where I managed teams and oversaw project implementation. I have been responsible for financial management, human resources coordination, and administrative support. My experience as an Executive Director has honed my skills in strategic planning and fundraising, allowing me to contribute effectively to the organizations I have worked with.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and a Master’s degree in Gender and Development, which provide me with a solid foundation to address the complexities of gender issues in various contexts. I am committed to continuous learning and have participated in numerous training workshops and conferences to enhance my knowledge and skills.
I am fluent in Albanian and have a good command of English and Italian, which enables me to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders. My passion for social justice drives me to advocate for those who are marginalized and to work towards creating a more equitable society.
