About me
I am an experienced Occupational Health and Safety professional with a strong background in refractory work and project supervision. Over the years, I have developed expertise in hazard and risk identification and management in the workplace, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. I have worked on various projects in the sugar mill and paper mill industries, Oil and gas industries, steel industries aluminum industries, leading teams to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
My experience includes supervising refractory installation projects, reading technical drawings, and advising artisans on safety protocols and best practices. I have successfully managed projects at large industrial sites, including the Kamoa SA mine in the Democratic Republic of Congo, where I led teams and ensured adherence to safety standards.
I hold a Chemical Engineering Diploma Level Two and have completed a professional certificate in Project Management through Coursera, which has enhanced my skills in project initiation, execution, and agile management. I am committed to continuous learning and professional development, with a passion for research and reading.
