Senior Data Engineer

I am a Senior Data Engineer with extensive experience in designing and optimizing data architectures to enhance business performance and scalability. Currently, I work at ex corp., where I have successfully reduced query costs by 30-40% through the optimization of BigQuery and Cloud Storage systems. I build complex and scalable ETL and ELT data pipelines using technologies such as Airflow, Kafka, Kubernetes, and SQL, ensuring reliable monitoring and alerting via Grafana and Slack API.

I also provide integrations with external data-centric services including APIs and SaaS platforms, and I mentor junior data engineers and analysts to help them grow professionally. Previously, I worked at CS.Money as a Data Engineer, where I played a key role in migrating the company’s data warehouse from MySQL to BigQuery. I reconfigured data exports using Google Cloud Composer and Apache Airflow, designed over 20 domain-specific data marts to accelerate product analytics, and developed a metrics alerting system using Telegram and Slack APIs.

In addition, I created a corporate knowledge base to document data, metrics, and reports, improving accessibility and consistency across teams. Earlier in my career, I worked as a Junior and Middle BI Developer at Qlever Solutions, where I designed BI architectures, developed applications on QlikView and Qlik Sense, interacted with customers as a business analyst, and wrote technical documentation.

My educational background includes a Master of Science in Computer Science with a focus on Cybersecurity from Saint Petersburg State Electrotechnical University. I have also completed additional certifications as a Qlik Sense Data Architect and Qlik Sense Administrator in 2019.

My core technical skills include BigQuery, Airflow, Kafka, SQL, Python, and Google Cloud Platform, with strong expertise in ClickHouse, dbt, Docker, Kubernetes, MySQL, and PostgreSQL. I am familiar with Power BI, Qlik Sense, and AWS. I am fluent in Russian (native), proficient in English (C1), and have basic knowledge of Spanish (A2).
