Certified English instructor

I have over thirty-five years of experience teaching communicative English to adults, kids, and teens. Throughout my career, I have prepared students for international tests such as TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC, and MET. My passion lies in helping learners achieve fluency and confidence in English through tailored teaching methods.

I have worked as a private English teacher remotely since 2010, providing personalized instruction to meet individual student needs. Prior to that, I taught at the Centro Cultural Colombo Americano in Cali from 2002 to 2010, where I instructed kids, teens, and adults. Earlier in my career, I was an English teacher at the Harris English Institute in Cali from 1989 to 2000, teaching beginner to advanced levels.

My educational background includes various specialized courses in English teaching, including conversational English teaching, communicative English for kids, teens, and adults, and TEFL certification. I have also participated in annual ELT conferences to stay updated with the latest teaching methodologies.

I am fluent in both Spanish and English, which allows me to connect effectively with a diverse range of students. I enjoy reading and cooking in my free time, which helps me maintain a balanced and creative approach to life and work.
