Commercial Engineer

I am a professional with more than 12 years of experience working in multinational companies, specializing in procurement processes, administrative operations, asset management, operational control, and internal customer service. Throughout my career, I have developed a strong background in vendor management, contracts, bidding processes, SAP, process optimization, and team leadership. I am results-oriented and focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.

In my role as Procurement Director at Zurich Insurance Ecuador, I managed procurement processes, contracts, and vendor relationships while leading fixed asset administration and SAP operations. I coordinated maintenance projects and property management, managed bidding processes, insurance contracts, and national agreements, and implemented operational and administrative process improvements.

Previously, as Validation and Control Director at Zurich Insurance Ecuador, I managed operational processes and documentation control, monitored KPIs, led continuous improvement initiatives, and supervised teams and workflow operations. I also managed databases to support strategic decision-making.

Earlier in my career, I worked as a Senior Issuance Executive at Zurich Insurance Ecuador, handling issuance, renewals, and maintenance of corporate insurance policies, supporting operational control and supervision activities, managing KPIs, and coordinating personnel. I also gained experience in the issuance department at Mapfre Atlas Insurance, where I handled operational and administrative issuance processes and supported management and operational coordination.

I hold a Commercial Engineering Degree with a specialization in Business Administration from Universidad de Las Américas (2011-2016). I am fluent in Spanish and have intermediate proficiency in English. My skill set includes procurement, purchasing, SAP, vendor management, negotiation, Excel, Power BI, operational management, customer service, contract administration, leadership, and continuous improvement.
