About me

I am an IT Systems & Endpoint Technical Lead with over 20 years of hands-on experience delivering regional infrastructure, endpoint imaging and recovery, secure deployments, and emergency site connectivity across Sub-Saharan Africa. I have been the de-facto Regional Technical Lead since 2016, leading tier-3 escalations, designing zero-mistake deployment frameworks, and performing cryptographic recoveries under SLA. My expertise spans multiple sectors including Financial, Corporate, Engineering, and Manufacturing.

Throughout my career, I have demonstrated a strong ability to reduce restore times, deliver significant CapEx savings through refurbishment pipelines, and maintain uninterrupted service during major network upgrades. I have successfully coordinated multi-site hardware and network upgrades across 10 to 11 national sites, ensuring 100% availability during critical upgrade windows.

I am recognized as a subject matter expert in SCCM/MECM, Microsoft Intune/Autopilot, McAfee/Trellix DETech cryptographic recoveries, Nexthink telemetry, and ServiceNow tier-3 operations. I have authored operational runbooks, visual guides, and escalation playbooks that have been adopted regionally to eliminate downtime risks and improve first-time success rates.

My technical leadership includes mentoring and training field engineers and cross-border teams, managing asset lifecycles, warranty processing, vendor procurement, and orchestrating secure logistics for physical data containment units. I am proficient in endpoint management, security and recovery, networking and connectivity, operational tools and processes, field operations and logistics, automation and diagnostics, and identity and access management.

I am immediately available for remote-first roles and willing to travel for short onsite engagements across Sub-Saharan Africa. I am comfortable with shift overlaps and short-notice escalations.
