Ukrainian as a Foreign Language Teacher

I am an enthusiastic graduate of a Master Programme in Theory, History of Literature and Comparative Studies, and I have built my career around language teaching, translation, proofreading, and academic work.

I currently teach Ukrainian as a foreign language to international adult students at the Ukrainian Institute London, working remotely with learners at all levels in both group and one-to-one formats.

Previously, I taught at the Ukrainian Language Department of the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, where I developed and updated an effective teaching approach based on fairy tales and designed several experimental language courses.

I also served as Deputy Head of the International Office at NaUKMA, where I coordinated support for incoming international students and assisted students from application through graduation.

Alongside teaching, I work as a freelance translator, proofreader, and simultaneous interpreter, handling texts and projects in IT, engineering, psychology, media, and higher education in both Ukrainian and English.

I am fluent in English and a native Ukrainian speaker, and I value creative thinking, purposefulness, and resilience. I also enjoy writing, blogging, and contributing to Ukrainian language and literature through publications, conferences, and volunteer language clubs.
