Test Lead / Senior Test Engineer

I am a Test Lead and Senior Test Engineer with extensive experience in agile testing, test management, and quality assurance across web applications, websites, CRM, SharePoint, desktop applications, and mobile applications.

I have strong hands-on expertise in user acceptance testing, API automation, load and performance testing, regression testing, smoke testing, and functional testing. I also work closely with stakeholders, development teams, product teams, and operations to define requirements, create test plans, and ensure high-quality delivery.

Throughout my career, I have led end-to-end system testing efforts, managed defect tracking and root cause analysis, and helped improve testing processes and quality metrics. I am comfortable working remotely and collaborating across cross-functional teams to support timely releases.

I have experience mentoring and coaching junior testers, managing test automation frameworks, and contributing to recruitment and interview processes. I focus on building efficient testing strategies and maintaining strong communication around progress, risks, and results.

I am ISTQB Certified Tester and have worked with tools such as Jira, Monday, Jenkins, JMeter, Selenium WebDriver, and other QA-related platforms. My background includes both manual and automated testing in complex environments.

I hold a Bachelor of Computer Systems from Instituto Tecnológico de Sonora and additional ISTQB-related education in testing, assessment, and measurement. I am based in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico, and I speak Spanish and English.
