The Social Media Coordinator position is a (W2) Contractor responsible for the daily ideation, sourcing, and creation of social media content, including but not limited to vertical videos, user-generated content, and photography. Responsibilities:
Work closely with senior management on daily content in alignment with company strategy, execute daily social operations and research/analysis.
Own end-to-end production with strong knowledge of content editing for social platforms – Pitching and producing social-first content that will elevate and expand the brand on social media.
Identify news pegs and opportunities to promote archival stories.
Build effective relationships with colleagues throughout the Blavity organization to support synergy across companyβs owned & operated brands.

Qualifications:

Required Experience:
2+ yrs of content creation production experience

Strong knowledge of design elements and principles β You understand the systems of graphic design in order to create work that is both aesthetically pleasing and effective.
2+ yrs of content development for Gen-Z and Millennial demographics

Details:
This is a fully remote role, U.S.- based role. Occasional travel may be required.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.

This a contract position with an hourly rate of $25 – $30/hr depending on experience
