We are seeking a Scientific Affairs Manager (m/f/d) with expertise in metabolism to join our Product and Marketing team. In this role, you will act as a subject matter expert, engaging with researchers in the field to support key commercial functions including sales, customer success, product, marketing, and scientific collaborations.Β
You will play a central role in scientific interactions with metabolism researchers and help shape our product and marketing strategies to effectively address the needs of this research community.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the internal scientific expert in metabolism, supporting customer interactions across the pre-sales and post-sales journey, including technical discussions and ongoing scientific guidance.
Engage with researchers to understand their scientific needs and work with the product and marketing team to translate those insights into product strategy, value propositions, requirements, and scientific messaging.
Provide guidance to our collaborations team on planning the right studies and partners to effectively demonstrate product capabilities and scientific value.
Stay updated on current trends in metabolism research and metabolic analysis tools to inform strategic planning and product positioning.
PhD in cell metabolism, cancer biology, or related life science field, with postdoctoral experience preferred.
Deep understanding of metabolic pathways and their role in disease and therapy; strong familiarity with the metabolic biology research community and its evolving trends; strong knowledge of cancer metabolism is preferred.
Solid understanding of preclinical research workflows.
2+ years of industry experience in a commercial role (application scientist, product manager, segment manager or similar) in the life sciences research market is a significant advantage.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Comfortable working independently, with a collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for scientific impact.
Willingness to travel 20% of the time.
