MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Business Analyst, Enterprise Recompete Strategy and Execution to join our team in Herndon, VA. This is a hybrid position and will require you to come into the office 2 days per week.

The Business Analyst will provide critical support to the Enterprise Recompete Strategy & Execution Leader in driving successful recompete efforts across the organization’s portfolio of Federal Programs. This role will be instrumental in facilitating the development and execution of win strategies, enabling on-contract growth, supporting technical roadmap development, and ensuring robust performance monitoring and reporting. The Business Analyst will also contribute to competitive intelligence gathering, acquisition shaping, and proposal strategy development, fostering strong cross-functional collaboration to maximize recompete success.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Strategic Growth Support: Help develop win strategies for recompetes and identify on-contract growth opportunities, aligning technical roadmaps with customer needs.
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting: Support data collection, analysis, and reporting of program performance for recompete strategies and leadership presentations.
  • Competitive Analysis: Gather and analyze competitive intelligence to inform proposal strategies and maintain a repository of market insights.
  • Acquisition & Proposal Assistance: Analyze customer requirements and assist in developing compelling proposal themes for recompetes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate communication and coordination among teams and stakeholders, ensuring timely follow-up on action items.
  • Administrative & Operational Aid: Provide administrative support to the Recompete Leader, including scheduling, process improvement, and documentation management.
     

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Exhibits excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information.
  • Experience producing high-quality written and verbal communications, including reports, presentations, and summaries.
  • Ability to work independently and within tight deadlines and time sensitive requests to be responsive to organization needs.
  • Effectively manages time and prioritizes tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams and builds strong working relationships.
  • Shows initiative and proactively seeks opportunities to support the Recompete Leader and program teams.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, data analysis tools).
  • Maintains confidentiality and handles sensitive information appropriately.
     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Applied Statistics and Data Analysis for Business, Operations Management,
  • Experience with Federal government contracting and acquisition processes
  • Strong research and analytical skills, including the ability to gather and interpret market and competitive data.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong project management, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels. 
  • Experience with CRM or opportunity management systems (e.g., Salesforce). 
  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Political Science, or a related field.

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations
  • Must be able to exchange accurate information in professional environments
