JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a visionary and data-driven Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Communications Programs to lead the development, planning, execution, and optimization of integrated communications initiatives that support Claritev’s vision, purpose, values and goals. This leader will oversee internal communications, executive visibility and messaging strategies, ensuring alignment and consistency across all audiences and channels. This role will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and lead a high-performing communications team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in communications program management with and to all levels of the organization. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, strong communicator, and experienced leader who can turn insights into actionable plans that drive business impact.

JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Develop and drive the overarching internal and executive communications strategies to foster engagement, transparency and culture.
  2. Plan and execute communications around organizational priorities, change management, HR and talent initiatives and business milestones.
  3. Imagine and oversee the mix of compelling content for newsletters, intranet, employee events and leadership updates
  4. Identify the appropriate technologies to optimize and measure engagement across various communications initiatives
  5. Partner with HR, IT and other business units to support communications related to employee experience and organizational development.
  6. Serve as strategic advisor to the CEO and ELT on internal and external messaging.
  7. Draft speeches, op-eds, scripts, talking points and presentations for executive visibility opportunities, in consultation with the brand marketing team.
  8. Manage executive thought leadership, including social media content, conference participation and keynote messaging.
  9. Ensure tone, voice and positioning reflect the company’s values and leadership style.
  10. Collaborate closely with brand marketing to ensure the visual and verbal components of the Claritev brand are consistent and clear across the organization and across all channels, and are in alignment with corporate strategy and brand narrative.
  11. Build metrics and KPIs to measure communication effectiveness and continuously improve channels and content.
  12. Support executive communications and board-level reporting with clear articulation of marketing and communication’s strategic impact.
  13. Lead and develop a team of communications professionals, as well as agencies and freelancers as needed.
  14. Foster collaboration across functions and departments to ensure communications are coordinated and impactful.

JOB SCOPE:

The AVP of Communications Programs will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing strategic communications programs that drive engagement for associates and executive audiences. The AVP will work closely with the C-suite and HR to create cohesive and effective communications strategies. Additionally, the AVP will lead a team of communications professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in communications strategy, excellent project management skills, and a proven ability to deliver impactful communications programs.

Qualifications

JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, and Training):

  • 10+ years of experience in corporate communications, business strategy, or related roles, with at least 5 years in a strategic and team leadership capacity.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business or related field; MBA or equivalent strategic experience preferred.
  • Proven track record of building and executing high-impact communications strategies in B2B and/or B2C environments.
  • Exceptional writing, editing and storytelling skills with experience drafting for senior executives.
  • Proven ability to influence and build trusted relationships with C-Suite leaders.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and externally with partners.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills; able to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environments with shifting priorities.
  • Proficient with marketing tools such as Salesforce, Asana, or similar platforms.

COMPENSATION 

The salary range for this position is $165-$180K. Specific offers take into account a candidate’s education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate’s work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.
