Working within the international finance team, this role will support the business operations of the EMEA and America’s regions and include the following responsibilities:
- Review of customer contracts and guidance on revenue recognition in line with US GAAP and company policy.
- Partnering with the regional sales, services, finance and accounting teams to produce:
- Monthly financial forecasts and variance analysis / insights
- Quarterly and annual reporting as required
- Annual budgets and rolling forecasts
- Evaluation of performance for various parts of the business segments
- Providing inputs for cashflow forecasting and analysis.
- Calculation of sales commissions.
- Compliance with SOX controls for the organisation.
- Liaising with internal and external auditors.
- Working with team members, Business Operations and Business IT for continuous improvement.
- Other ad hoc analysis and reporting as required.
Desired Education/Experience
- Qualified accountant / finalist stage of accounting qualification
- At least 3 years of professional experience in finance & accounting required, preferably within a multinational environment.
- Experience with interpreting complex multi-element customer contracts.
- Experience with reviewing and assisting in applying revenue recognition policies.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting and Finance, with advanced skills preferred in Excel / Oracle Financials / Power BI / TM1.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and relationship building skills.
- Ability to manage/prioritise multiple projects and meet tight closing deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and within distributed team environments.
