Our client is a subscription-based market research company that provides insights and trends related to digital marketing, media, and commerce.
The Forward Engineer will accelerate the client’s revenue growth by embedding with Sales and Marketing teams to build AI-powered automations that transform manual processes into scalable solutions. This role bridges the gap between cutting-edge AI technology and business operations, delivering immediate impact on pipeline generation, conversion rates, and revenue metrics.
Embed with revenue teams to identify and prioritize high-impact automation opportunities across the sales and marketing funnel
Design, build, and deploy AI-powered workflows and automations within 1-2 week sprint cycles
Develop data enrichment systems and lead scoring models that improve prospect identification and qualification
Create evaluation frameworks and testing protocols to measure automation effectiveness and ROI
Collaborate with Engineering and Data teams to transition proven prototypes into production systems
Analyze workflow performance data and iterate based on user feedback and business metrics
Build integrations between AI tools (Clay, OpenAI, Claude) and existing revenue systems (Salesforce, HubSpot)
Document solutions and establish best practices for scaling automations across teams
Present findings and recommendations to leadership on automation opportunities and impact
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3-5 years of experience in software engineering, solutions engineering, AI, or revenue operations
Demonstrated experience building and deploying AI/ML solutions that drove measurable business outcomes
Hands-on experience with Python and modern API development
Working knowledge of B2B sales and marketing processes
Experience with CRM platforms and revenue technology stacks

Familiarity with automation platforms (e.g., Clay, Zapier, n8n) and workflow orchestration
Understanding of agentic AI frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen)
Experience with data analysis tools and libraries (pandas, SQL, basic statistics)
Knowledge of modern web technologies and RESTful API design
Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and containerization
