Sample interview questions
I have designed CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Harness, and AWS CodePipeline. I follow best practices like infrastructure as code, automated testing, and deployment strategies such as blue-green and canary releases to minimize downtime and ensure reliability.
I start by gathering metrics and logs from monitoring tools like CloudWatch and Datadog, then isolate the component using a systematic approach. I use root cause analysis techniques and collaborate with team members to resolve the issue, documenting findings for future prevention.
I implemented an AI-based anomaly detection system for our monitoring alerts, which reduced false positives by 40%. I also automated routine tasks like scaling and patching using Python scripts and Terraform, saving the team 10 hours per week.
I have deployed and managed Kubernetes clusters on AWS EKS, handling pod scaling, service mesh integration, and rolling updates. I use Helm for package management and ensure security with RBAC and network policies.
I implement security best practices like least privilege IAM roles, encryption at rest and in transit, and regular vulnerability scanning. I use tools like AWS Config and Terraform Sentinel to enforce compliance policies and conduct regular audits.
