Describe your experience with GDS Sabre and how you have used it to manage complex travel bookings.
I have used Sabre extensively for over 5 years to book air, hotel, and car rentals. For example, I once coordinated a multi-city tour for a music artist involving 15 flights and hotel changes, all within Sabre, ensuring seamless itinerary management and reissues.
How do you handle last-minute changes or high-pressure situations when a client's travel plans need urgent modification?
I stay calm and prioritize the client's needs. I quickly assess options, communicate clearly with the client, and leverage my knowledge of airline rules to make changes efficiently. I also proactively anticipate potential issues to minimize disruptions.
Can you give an example of a time you managed a complex group movement and what steps you took to ensure success?
I coordinated travel for a film crew of 50 people to a remote location. I arranged chartered flights, coordinated ground transport, and handled visa requirements. I maintained constant communication with the production team and had backup plans for every leg.
How do you ensure confidentiality when handling travel for high-profile entertainment clients?
I always use secure communication channels, avoid discussing client details with unauthorized parties, and store information in encrypted systems. I also follow strict protocols for name changes and itinerary modifications.
What strategies do you use to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment?
I use a priority matrix to categorize tasks by urgency and importance. I also set realistic timelines, leverage tools like calendars and reminders, and delegate when appropriate. Regular check-ins with the team help me stay aligned.
