Azure Data Factory ETL SSIS SQL AI Adoption Data Pipelines Healthcare Claims Team Leadership Stakeholder Management Reporting Automation

Dear Hiring Manager,

I am excited to apply for the Manager, Applications role at Molina Healthcare. With over 7 years of experience leading ETL teams and driving data platform modernization, I have a strong track record of delivering scalable solutions using Azure Data Factory and AI technologies. In my previous role, I managed a team of 10 and successfully migrated on-premise SSIS packages to ADF, reducing processing time by 40%.

I am particularly drawn to Molina's focus on healthcare data integrity and AI adoption. My technical skills in SQL, reporting automation, and cloud architecture align perfectly with the requirements. Moreover, my leadership style emphasizes clear communication, stakeholder alignment, and continuous improvement.

I would welcome the opportunity to discuss how I can contribute to Molina's TCIM workstreams. Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely, [Your Name]

How do you approach leading a team through a technology migration like SSIS to ADF?
I start by assessing the current state, prioritize pipelines based on business impact, and create a phased migration plan. I involve the team in design decisions and provide training on ADF. Communication with stakeholders is key to manage expectations and ensure minimal disruption.
Describe a time you had to manage competing priorities from multiple stakeholders.
In my previous role, we had urgent requests from finance and operations simultaneously. I facilitated a prioritization meeting to align on business value and deadlines, then adjusted team capacity. I also set up a Kanban board to visualize workload and provide transparency.
How do you foster AI adoption within a team?
I encourage experimentation by allocating time for proof-of-concepts and sharing success stories. I also provide learning resources and pair less experienced team members with AI-savvy colleagues. I emphasize business outcomes to show value.
What experience do you have with healthcare data pipelines?
I have worked on claims data processing, eligibility verification, and pricing systems. I understand HIPAA compliance and data quality requirements. For instance, I led a project to automate fee schedule validation using SQL and ADF.
How do you ensure delivery quality in a fast-paced environment?
I enforce code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines. I also hold regular retro sessions to identify process improvements. Stakeholder demos ensure alignment.
