Key Skills

Salesforce Apex Lightning Web Components Flow Integration REST API CI/CD Agile DevOps Unit Testing

I am writing to express my strong interest in the Salesforce Technical Developer position at Bright Vision Technologies. With over 5 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development, including expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components, and complex integrations, I am confident in my ability to deliver robust solutions that drive business automation.

In my previous role, I successfully designed and implemented scalable Salesforce applications that optimized operational workflows and improved user adoption by 30%. I thrive in remote, collaborative environments and am adept at using CI/CD pipelines to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.

I am particularly drawn to Bright Vision Technologies' commitment to innovation and long-term projects. I look forward to the opportunity to contribute to your team and help transform business processes through technology.

Thank you for considering my application. I am eager to discuss how my skills align with your needs in more detail.

Explain how you handle governor limits when writing Apex code that processes large data sets.
I always design with bulkification in mind, using batch or queueable classes for large volumes. I avoid SOQL queries inside loops, use collection-based operations, and leverage limits methods to dynamically adjust processing. I also implement error handling to avoid partial failures and ensure retry logic.
Describe a complex integration you've built with Salesforce using REST API. How did you handle authentication and error handling?
I built an integration connecting Salesforce to a third-party ERP using OAuth 2.0 with named credentials. I implemented callout classes with retry logic for transient errors, used platform events for async processing, and logged failures in a custom object for monitoring. The solution handled both sync and async data flows.
How do you approach debugging performance issues in Lightning Web Components?
I start by using browser dev tools to inspect network calls, component rendering, and memory usage. I ensure I'm using wire adapters efficiently with proper cache management, avoid unnecessary re-renders by using @track only when needed, and consider lazy loading for large data sets. I also leverage Salesforce's built-in debugging tools.
What is your experience with CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce? Describe a pipeline you've set up.
I have set up a CI/CD pipeline using Salesforce DX and GitHub Actions. It includes source format, running Apex tests, executing PMD scans for code quality, and deploying to sandboxes via org-dependent deployments. The pipeline ensures every PR is validated before merging to the main branch.
How do you stay updated with Salesforce releases and ensure your code follows best practices?
I follow Salesforce release notes, attend webinars, and participate in Trailhead modules. I regularly refactor old code to adopt new features like Flow and LWC. I also contribute to internal knowledge sharing and code review sessions to ensure team alignment with current best practices.

Job Summary
We are seeking a Salesforce Technical Developer to design and build production-grade Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, and integration platforms. The role is deeply hands-on, with responsibility for delivering custom business logic, integrations, user interfaces, and automation that meet complex enterprise requirements while respecting platform limits and long-term maintainability. The ideal candidate has shipped meaningful Salesforce work in production, writes idiomatic Apex and modern LWC, and balances declarative-first thinking with the willingness to write code where it provides clear value.
Key Responsibilities

  • Develop Apex classes, triggers, batch jobs, queueable jobs, and scheduled jobs that respect governor limits and bulkification principles.
  • Build Lightning Web Components for rich, performant user experiences embedded across Salesforce surfaces.
  • Design and implement automation using Flow, Process Builder migration, and declarative-first patterns.
  • Develop integrations using REST, SOAP, Platform Events, Change Data Capture, and Salesforce Connect.
  • Implement complex data models including custom objects, relationships, formula fields, and validation rules.
  • Build and maintain sharing models, profiles, permission sets, and row-level security configurations.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive Apex unit tests with meaningful coverage and assertions.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines using Salesforce DX, Copado, Gearset, or AutoRABIT.
  • Participate in code reviews, contribute to development standards, and document technical decisions.
  • Troubleshoot production issues including governor-limit errors, integration failures, and data anomalies.
  • Collaborate with admins, architects, and product owners to refine requirements.
  • Optimize performance for large-data-volume scenarios, including selective queries and async patterns.
  • Support upgrades, releases, and refactoring of legacy implementations toward modern patterns.
  • Stay current with Salesforce releases, Einstein/Agentforce features, and platform innovations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Five or more years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
  • Deep expertise in Apex, SOQL, SOSL, and platform limits.
  • Strong proficiency in Lightning Web Components and modern JavaScript.
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with Flow and declarative automation.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data model and sharing.
  • Experience with Salesforce DX and modern source-driven development.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I certification.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce Platform Developer II certification.
  • Experience with Industry Clouds (Financial Services, Health, Manufacturing).
  • Familiarity with MuleSoft or other middleware platforms.
  • Exposure to Einstein AI or Agentforce development.
  • Experience with Experience Cloud (Communities) development.
