Dear Hiring Team,

I am thrilled to apply for the CSS TSSM Travel Technology Program Manager position at BCD Travel. With extensive experience in corporate travel and advanced proficiency in Concur, Sabre, and Amadeus, I have successfully managed complex technology incidents and led cross-functional teams. My background includes implementing configuration changes, conducting training sessions, and driving customer-centric communication.

I am particularly drawn to BCD's commitment to sustainability and employee growth. In my previous role, I spearheaded a project that streamlined travel technology processes, resulting in a 20% improvement in incident resolution time. I am confident that my skills in project management and risk analysis will contribute to your team's success.

Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to the opportunity to discuss how my experience aligns with BCD's vision.

Sincerely,
[Your Name]

Describe your experience with GDS systems like Sabre or Amadeus. How have you used them to resolve complex travel technology issues?
I have 5+ years working with Sabre and Amadeus, handling tasks from booking modifications to troubleshooting integration errors. For example, I once resolved a recurring XML parsing error by coordinating with the vendor and implementing a configuration change, reducing incident tickets by 30%.
How do you prioritize and manage multiple high-priority incidents simultaneously?
I use a risk-impact matrix to assess urgency and severity, then delegate tasks within the team while ensuring clear communication. I also set up automated alerts for critical systems to prevent escalations.
Can you give an example of a successful training or presentation you delivered to external customers?
I led a webinar for 50 corporate clients on new Concur features, including a live demo and Q&A. Post-training surveys showed 90% satisfaction, and adoption of the features increased by 25% within a month.
How do you approach change management when implementing new travel technology processes?
I follow a structured approach: assess impact, communicate benefits to stakeholders, provide training, and monitor adoption. For instance, when migrating to a new expense tool, I created a phased rollout with pilot groups to gather feedback before full deployment.
Describe a time you identified an opportunity for improvement in travel technology. What was the outcome?
I noticed that our booking error rate was high due to outdated automation rules. I proposed a revamp of the validation logic, collaborated with developers to test it, and achieved a 40% reduction in errors, saving 15 hours of manual rework per week.
