Dear Hiring Manager,

I am excited to apply for the Sales Recruiter (Contract) position at Zip. With over 3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, I have successfully sourced and closed top sales talent for fast-growing companies. I thrive in ambiguous, high-volume environments and am skilled at building strong relationships with senior leadership to define hiring needs.

At my previous role, I managed multiple requisitions simultaneously, from sourcing to compensation negotiation, and consistently delivered diverse candidate pipelines. I am particularly drawn to Zip's mission of transforming enterprise procurement with AI and would love to contribute to building the team that drives this innovation.

I am eager to bring my proactive, process-oriented approach to Zip and help scale the sales organization. Thank you for considering my application.

Sincerely, [Your Name]

How do you source candidates for hard-to-fill sales roles?
I use a multi-channel approach: LinkedIn, Booleans, referrals, and industry events. I also leverage employee referrals and niche job boards. For passive candidates, I craft personalized outreach highlighting the company's mission and growth.
Describe a time you managed multiple requisitions at once. How did you prioritize?
I used an ATS to track progress and set daily goals. I prioritize roles based on business impact and candidate availability. I also communicate regularly with hiring managers to align on urgency.
How do you ensure a positive candidate experience?
I keep candidates informed at every stage, provide timely feedback, and ensure the interview process is respectful of their time. I also collect feedback to continuously improve.
How do you handle compensation negotiations with candidates?
I start by understanding the candidate's expectations and the role's budget. I present the total package including equity and perks. I use market data to justify offers and find creative solutions to close the gap.
What strategies do you use to attract diverse candidates?
I partner with diversity organizations, use inclusive language in job descriptions, and source from underrepresented communities. I also ensure diverse interview panels and track diversity metrics.
