Dear Hiring Team,
I am excited to apply for the Manager, Retail Partnerships role at Angi. My background in analytical, cross-functional work has prepared me to translate performance data into practical initiatives that improve partner outcomes and customer experience.
I would bring strong stakeholder-management, project-execution, and financial-analysis capabilities to support strategic retail accounts and identify scalable growth opportunities. I am particularly drawn to Angi's mission of delivering reliable home services and its focus on measurable, customer-centered execution.
I would welcome the opportunity to discuss how I can help the Retail Partnerships team strengthen account performance and deliver more jobs done well.
Sincerely,
[Your Name]
Sample interview questions
I would begin by defining the account's core performance metrics, such as order volume, conversion, fulfillment quality, customer satisfaction, cancellation rate, and contribution margin. I would segment results by service, geography, retailer channel, and time period to identify the largest drivers, validate findings with operational partners, and prioritize initiatives based on customer impact, financial value, and execution effort.
In a prior cross-functional project, I would establish a shared problem statement, success metrics, owners, milestones, and a regular operating cadence. I would tailor updates to each group's decisions and constraints, document tradeoffs, and escalate only when a decision is needed to protect the timeline or outcome.
I would translate the analysis into a concise narrative: the business question, the most important insight, the financial or customer impact, the recommended action, and the decision required. I would keep detailed methodology in an appendix, clearly state assumptions, and use simple visuals so stakeholders can quickly understand both the evidence and the next step.
I would first diagnose whether the decline is driven by demand, conversion, availability, service quality, pricing, cancellations, or a reporting change. After quantifying the relevant drivers, I would align internal and partner stakeholders on the root cause, create a recovery plan with leading indicators, and communicate progress against a defined target and timeline.
I use AI as a productivity aid for tasks such as synthesizing notes, drafting initial analyses, organizing hypotheses, and improving communication clarity, while validating all outputs against source data and company policies. For business-critical recommendations, I maintain ownership of the analytical logic, assumptions, and final decision-making.
