Sample interview questions
How have you increased revenue or pipeline through a reseller partner portfolio?

I would describe a structured approach: segment partners by potential and engagement, establish shared targets and account plans, run regular pipeline reviews, and provide hands-on support for priority opportunities. I would quantify the impact through sourced pipeline, influenced revenue, conversion rates, and partner activation metrics.

How would you decide which reseller partners deserve deeper investment?

I would evaluate revenue history, pipeline quality, customer overlap, seller engagement, technical fit, market reach, and willingness to commit to a joint plan. I would prioritize partners with both near-term deal potential and the capacity to build a repeatable long-term motion.

Describe how you would help a partner move a stalled deal forward.

I would first identify the specific blocker, such as stakeholder alignment, pricing, procurement, security validation, or competitive positioning. Then I would align the partner and internal account team on a mutual action plan, join customer calls where useful, provide targeted resources, and set clear next steps with dates and owners.

What would your first 90 days in this role look like?

I would learn DeleteMe’s product, buyer personas, partner economics, and current pipeline; meet key internal stakeholders and priority resellers; and assess existing partner performance. I would then establish account plans for top partners, define engagement cadences and reporting, identify quick-win co-sell opportunities, and propose a scalable enablement and recruitment plan.

How do you balance strategic channel-program development with urgent deal support?

I use a clear operating cadence that protects time for strategic work while setting escalation criteria for high-value or time-sensitive deals. Deal learnings should feed back into playbooks, enablement, and processes so that recurring issues are resolved systematically rather than only handled case by case.

Job Responsibilities:

-Own and grow a portfolio of reseller partnerships, prioritizing partners who show strong growth potential and revenue upside.
-Build deep, trust-based relationships with partner reps and sales teams — the kind that make DeleteMe their go-to recommendation.

-Drive partner engagement and pipeline through regular touchpoints, training, and proactive deal support.
-Represent DeleteMe at partner events, summits, and joint customer engagements.
-Track partner performance, pipeline contribution, and program ROI; report on what’s working and adjust accordingly.
-Bonus: experience transacting in Public Sector (SLED/FED) partner environments.

Job Requirements:

-A minimum of 5+ years in partnerships/alliances
-A desire to build and scale a partner program from the ground up in B2B SaaS (cybersecurity or adjacent industries a plus).
-Strong operational expertise — comfortable designing processes, aligning sellers, and building repeatable partner playbooks.
-Demonstrated ability to cultivate field-level partner relationships and create pipeline through co-sell engagement.
-Strategic thinker who can execute tactically; thrives in early-stage, fast-moving environments.
-Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both partners and internal stakeholders.
-A can-do attitude and a solid sense of humor.
-Familiarity with Guidepoint, Evotek, VLCM, Tech Data, etc
