Sample interview questions
I assess urgency, business impact, deadlines, and the executive’s stated priorities, then communicate trade-offs early. I maintain a centralized task system, protect focus time, and confirm decisions when requests conflict.
I begin by understanding the executive’s goals, preferred working patterns, and non-negotiable commitments. I build in preparation and travel buffers, confirm attendee availability and materials well in advance, and continuously review the calendar for conflicts or opportunities to consolidate time.
I use discretion as a default, share information only with authorized parties, and follow secure document and communication practices. I also clarify expectations when information is sensitive and avoid discussing executive matters outside the appropriate context.
I work backward from the event date to create a detailed checklist covering objectives, attendees, agenda, logistics, materials, technology, and follow-up. During the meeting, I track decisions and action items, then distribute clear notes and monitor completion afterward.
I would quickly identify what can move, assess stakeholder impact, and present the executive with concise options where needed. I would then communicate updates promptly, preserve critical commitments when possible, and ensure all affected parties have the necessary context.
